In 1943 window banners were sent to stores by the War Department
to be displayed as promotion for The Women's Army Corps.

Place in the War

The Women's Auxiliary Army Corps had been transformed into the
Women's Army Corps and the women now had full Army status and benefits.

Those women who had been WAAC's had to re-enlist but kept their seniority.
